We have been in business since 1976 and have provided thousands of clients a personalized valuable service for a reasonable fee. We do the form preparation, court filing, keep track of the dates and guide you through the paper process. We cannot give legal advice or represent you BUT we can refer you to a qualified attorney to offer "limited scope" representation at any hearing or to consult with you if you feel it necessary to seek actual representation or legal advice. These "limited scope" attorneys' fees are usually less than $500.00.
We also offer workshops regularly to assist you in doing the forms yourself with our assistance and direction for a reduced fee, saving you even more money.
Irene Zupko is a Licensed LDA, Private Investigator and certified Domestic Violence Advocate who has many years experience working with families in crisis or experiencing violence/abuse in the home. She offers a free Domestic Violence "Legal Options" workshop to help victims break the cycle of violence and also offers free restraining orders, forms completion, in the workshop.
Irene has operated PAU in the Central Valley for 30+ years and she relocated to SLO County in 2005. She makes her home in Los Osos and seeks to provide a quality service to local residents in SLO County as well as any other county where her services may be needed.
PAU also seeks to offer a unique "we come to you" service wherein we will come to your home or office to gather the information and prepare the initial documents. This saves you the time, fuel, child care and other expenses of traveling to our office in Los Osos OR Fresno. Of course, you are always welcome to come to our office for an appointment or to utilize our extensive library of self help legal books and materials.
