Upon the initial appointment and consultation, a contract will be signed insuring both parties understand what service is being offered and that it will meet the needs of the client. Arrangements for payment will be made at that time. We have a number of options for the client's convenience taking away any financial barrier so the urgent need can be met. Then, with your approval, the legal documents will be completed and provided to you at your direction along with expert guidance on the process, filing/fees etc. Also, you will receive brochures that have been written and/or approved by a licensed California attorney. PAU also has a legal self-help library on site where books containing appropriate legal advice are available for purchase. We cannot give legal advice but we have been providing this service for many years and can effectively guide you through the process for less cost.
